9. What does a typical day look like in the Residential Treatment program?
In Residential Treatment at Anchorpoint Teen Treatment, each day is thoughtfully structured to support growth, healing, and stability in a nurturing environment. Clients start with morning routines, including wake-up, hygiene, and breakfast, followed by setting daily intentions. The morning typically includes academic support sessions, ensuring educational progress alongside therapeutic work. Throughout the day, clients participate in individual and group therapy sessions, covering a range of topics such as self-esteem, emotional regulation, and goal setting. Experiential activities like yoga, creative writing, health and fitness, and mindful outdoor activities are also incorporated to promote physical well-being and emotional balance.
Afternoons often include process groups, skill-building workshops, and specialized sessions like DBT application and psychoeducation. Clients engage in social skills development during meals and enjoy structured recreational activities, such as art, music, or pet therapy. Evenings are set aside for reflection and relaxation, with time for hygiene, chores, and group reflections. This structured daily schedule is designed to provide a stable environment where clients can focus on healing, building resilience, and preparing for a successful return to their everyday lives.

At Anchorpoint Teen Treatment, the length of stay is not pre-specified but is based on each client’s unique needs, with clients staying as long as clinically indicated to support their recovery journey. Our Residential Treatment program typically lasts around 90 days. The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) lasts between 45-60 days, with sessions from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, while the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) runs for 3 hours per day over a period of 30-45 days. Each program’s duration and schedule are tailored to ensure that every client receives the appropriate level of care for their healing and growth.

We offer a robust aftercare program, including alumni support and discharge planning. Our team works with each client to create a personalized plan that includes ongoing resources and family support to ease the transition back into daily life.
12. Is transportation provided for outpatient programs?

We provide an accredited academic program through Acellus Academy, which allows students to continue their education while receiving treatment.
